Pricing

$35/hour (this is just a solid number which I base my time and efforts on when putting together a quote)

Factors to consider when looking at your quote:

• How many people are being painted?

• How big do you want the painting to be?

• What is the background like? Are you standing in front of a blank wall or are you laying in a field at the edge of the forest? One is more complex than the other — it will take more time — the more time the picture takes the more money it will cost.

  EXAMPLE:

  24”x30” painting will take approximately 40 hours and cost anywhere from $900-$1,400

  Size and complexity are the biggest factors that correlate to a higher price.

  A picture with a complex background and multiple figures in it will cost more than one with a single figure and a monotone background.

I require a 50% down payment at the time of our reference photo session.

Based in central Vermont - I’ll happily travel both domestically and internationally — a fee will be included in the price of your painting based on how far I have to travel for our reference photoshoot.

I am happy to provide you with progress photos and/or a critique session as the painting nears completion where we meet up and dissect the picture and determine what we like and what we find necessary to change!
